Speaker Introduction:

Dr. Du Guanxiang is a professor at the School of Communication and Information Engineering, Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications. In July, 2008, he received his Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and was awarded the scholarship of the Special Scholar of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. He has worked in the Northeastern University of Japan, the University of Basel in Switzerland, and the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry in Germany.

Dr. Du Guanxiang has won several international conference awards, including: 2010 MMM Best Poster, 2011 Japan Magnetic Society Annual Paper Award, 2014 EFTF Best Poster Award. He was the first prize winner of the 2013 Beijing Science and Technology Awards. In 2015, he was awarded the title of Distinguished Professor of Jiangsu Province. In 2016, he was the “Dingshan Scholar” of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications and the 13th batch of “Six Talents” high-level talents in Jiangsu Province. Currently serves as Deputy Director of the Peter Grünberg Research Center in Jiangsu Province.

Dr. Du Guanxiang has been engaged in the development of precision measurement methods and test systems, conducting experimental physics research on key measurement problems in the spin properties of matter and the optical optics manipulation of spins among other related research: (1) precision measurement of high frequency electromagnetic waves; (2) precision measurement of extremely weak magnetic fields; (3) nuclear magnetic resonance technology of biological systems.

Lecture Content

The fifth generation of mobile communication and universal interconnection technology is a challenge for the requirements of microwave and millimeter wave integrated circuits, self-charging, low-power, and multi-functional integrated microwave circuits. The lecture will center around these research. This report explores a practical electromagnetic field precision measurement technology based on diamond NV color center, and reports some work on the microwave chip, chip filter and antenna test characterization.
